2010 AMBER - VQA  

Winner Vancouver Magazine "Best Rich White Wine Catagory"

Named after our daughter Amber, this lively blend features aromas of peach, tangerine, apricot, tropical fruit and a hint of gooseberry. These aromatics are complemented by refreshing nectarine and citrus flavours on the palate. The luscious fruit character is balanced with a crisp acidity and mineral notes. A cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks enhances the floral and citrus characters.

 

 

 

 

 

RED WINES 

 

 

The 2010 growing season started with cooler temperatures and delayed bud break. But by mid‐June, summer arrived as expected. Fall began with a cooler than usual September and uncharacteristic rainfall. An October heat wave rounded the vintage out beautifully and brought everything together for a fantastic harvest. The grapes from our esteemed east bench vineyard in Osoyoos were hand picked and hand sorted, then fermented using pump overs and cap irrigations to extract optimal colour and flavour. After the wine was pressed, it was transferred to 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels.

 

 

2009 BLACK LABEL 33•30•24•13 VQA

This noble blend boasts aromas of licorice, espresso beans, and exotic spices. The texture and silkiness on the palate are seamlessly interwoven with concentrated layers of ripe tannin and fruit. Bottled without fining or filtration.

2009 SYRAH - VQA

Rich aromatics of ripe cherries, blackberry, roasted coffee, and cocoa. On the palate, ripe black fruit, espresso, allspice and mocha. Luscious and well balanced with supple tannins, juicy berry flavours to the end. This sumptuous Syrah will develop gracefully in the bottle. Bottled without fining or filtration.

2010 MERLOT - VQA

A bouquet of fruit, floral and spice aromas, displaying black cherry, red raspberry, lilac, exotic spice and even a touch of minerality. On the mouth, the wine coats and lingers with a sumptuous viscosity and beautifully ripe tannins. Bottled without fining or filtration.

2010 CABERNET SAUVIGNON - VQA

This Cabernet has distinct flavours of black currant, blueberry, blackberry and cassis with enticing aromas of mocha and nutmeg. Notes of smoke, cedar and tobacco round out the lingering finish. Bottled without fining or filtration.
